Vision
A vision statement describes what you want to achieve in the future and why it matters. It answers the questions: Where do you want to go? What will be different when you get there? A good vision statement should be ambitious, realistic, and motivating. It should paint a picture of the ideal state or outcome that you are working towards.
E.g.

Mission
A mission statement describes why your organization or project exists and what it does. A good mission statement should be concise, clear, and inspiring. It should communicate your purpose and value to your customers, employees, and stakeholders.

Goal
Goal and aim are used interchangeably. There can be several goals in a company and they state the things that company needs to achieve in order to fulfill its mission and vision. For example, a company’s goal could be to increase its revenue, improve its customer satisfaction, or reduce its environmental impact. Goals are usually long-term and broad in scope, while objectives are more specific and short-term.
E.g.
- to Increase Revenue
Objectives
Goals can be broken down into smaller and more manageable objectives that can be measured and tracked. They are the milestones or targets that you set for yourself or your team. Objectives should be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
E.g.
- Increase Sales by 15% in 2024
- Improve Brand Awareness by 50% on 2024
- Cut costs by 25% in 2024
Strategy
Strategies are the ways or methods that you will use to achieve your objectives. They are the big themes or approaches that guide your actions. Strategies should be based on your strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats (SWOT analysis). They should also be consistent with your mission and vision.
E.g.
- Create a Loyalty Program
- Create Digital Marketing Strategy
- Optimize Procurement Process
Plan
Action plans are the specific actions that you will take to implement your strategies and achieve your objectives. They are the tasks or steps that you or your team will perform. Action plans should be clear, detailed, and assigned to responsible people. They should also have deadlines and resources allocated.
E.g.
- Build Mobile app with Rewards Scheme
